Building Family Friendly Workplaces™
The Family Friendly Workplaces™ certification is the first of its kind across the UK. Using the Global Work + Family Standards, it recognises the organisations that are committed to embedding best practice ways of working.
It has wide-reaching benefits, enabling employers to assess their social impact, attract and retain talent, improve wellbeing outcomes and drive a culture of change by raising the standards of family-inclusive employers.
The Family Friendly Workplaces™ certification programme aligns with the United Nations’ Sustainable Development Goals, thereby contributing to global social change.
In the UK, being employed doesn’t offer protection against poverty, and access to fair, flexible work is one of the most effective routes for these families. Working Families, the UK’s national charity for working parents and carers, has come together with Founding and Supporting Employers to create Family Friendly Workplaces™ in the UK.
