About the Global Work + Family Standards
Global Work + Family Standards have been developed in collaboration with leading policy experts, researchers, and industry and community partners to provide employers with a benchmark for best practice family-inclusive workplace policies.
These standards guide organisations in designing and implementing sustainable policies that drive meaningful progress.
Employers who meet the Global Work + Family standards can apply to be recognised as a certified Family Inclusive Workplace™ through an accreditation process.

How to Certify
The Family Friendly Workplace accreditation process is administered by Working Families and the team provide instruction to guide you through the initial Self Assessment and steps to certification.
The accreditation process helps organisations identify and enhance people & culture policies and practices, fostering greater inclusion, gender equality, and family wellbeing.
It also enables tracking and reporting of social impact progress over time to evaluate return on investment.
To begin, your organisation’s eligibility to participate in the certification is assessed through an online Self Assessment tool. Once eligible, your organisation can proceed and complete the certification questionnaire online at any time.
An annual certification fee applies based on organisation size and certification recognition is valid for two years.
